Charlotte is now a lot worse too. Her walking is becoming more like a stumble, she is constantly tired and needs rest every couple of hours and she is starting to drool. Her teacher spoke to me friday as charlotte no longer keeps up with class work. She even struggled with colouring in today. This is the saddest time

Charlotte slept pretty well last night and was a little better today in some ways. Her words often slur, but she was steadier for most of the day. Unfortunately this disease has played another ace though - she has lost all strength in her right arm and leg. She swings her leg to walk and locks her knee backward to put weight on it...

She now knows she can't write, draw or colour in. I can't see how school will be possible. Yet she still laughs and smiles despite her realisation of inability. Here's a pic from the hovercraft today.
