this long weekend has been good for charlotte. Easter was of course a day full of excitement as charlotte and trevar realised the bunny had been hiding little eggs around. There was also the cuddly bunny and lots of chicks perched on her bed.
April 1 (today) was also fun as we schemed to play tricks on nana and grandad. Two tricks were decided upon for morning coffee time... Aunty Karen made an excuse to borrow their milk and charlotte added blue/green food colouring making the milk look more like mint. Then we took some mini oreos, scraped out the cream and replaced it with white toothpaste :). The kids were eager to have their laugh, so when grandad made the coffee we all looked on. but Grandad didn't notice the colour of the milk, only all of us watching him! After a while, nana noticed and had to show grandad that the milk was a different colour to normal milk... the funniest trick was yet to come as charlotte gave nana and grandad their oreos. Both popped the biscuit into their mouths and we burst out laughing as they screwed their faces up. April Fools!!
Now she's back with mummy and it's back to doldrums for me for a few days.
