We headed out on the MRT again and this time caught the Cable Car to Sentosa Island. Rachel was petrified. We were up very high and the cable car took us from the Singapore mainland across the ocean to Sentosa Island.
We headed straight for the luge and had one ride on the luge with Charlotte driving herself this time. She did very well and absolutely loved it. She had to use her arm muscles to stop and start, etc, so it was tiring for her, but she wouldn't give up. Then we went on the chairlift back up for another go on the luge. Charlotte really enjoyed the second time down too. We went to KFC for lunch so Charlotte could have her fish donuts.
We walked over to the Megazip Adventure Park, which was up a huge hill, so we got very hot and sweaty. It wasn't any good though - particularly for charlotte so we walked back down the big hill and back to the monorail.
We checked out the IFly wind tunnel too - an indoor skydiving simulator. We watched a few people doing their skydives which apparently cost $89 for two 30 second "dives" that were just a metre off the ground in the wind tunnel. Interesting to watch though.
We took the cable car back to the mainland and had a swim and play in the pool for an hour or so. Then headed out to Marina Bay Sands Hotel. We had dinner in the shopping centre part of it and then walked to the OCBC Gardens by the Bay for the light show in the Supertree Grove. They are massive metal structures that look like trees with lots of pretty lights that change colours and they have a show to music with the trees sort of dancing with the lights. It was very pretty.
The pics of charlotte standing infront of animals were actually taken at the train station.. the fuzzy shots of the super trees were taken by charlotte! I need to find where my shots have gone!
