What a wiggley weekend...

Well, I'm exhausted!  It's Monday night and I don't think I've updated this since friday..

Saturday - Charlotte got to return home to Kev's house for the first time in 6 weeks.  She has been to Mummy's house a couple of times during the treatment but I was never able (or confident) to bring her all the way home as we were having the odd hiccup.

She seemed to take it all in, wondering around her home and getting reaquainted with her belongings and her bedroom :)  We said g'day to the chooks and did some colouring and activities.  After dinner we made the long trek back to Crazy Arron's place.

Charlotte and Adelle
Sunday.. now what happenned on Sunday???  Oh yeah - WIGGLES!!

We met Adelle and her Mummy and Daddy at the new Perth Arena and waited very patiently for them to let us in!  It was getting hot and the flies were way too friendly so we were thankful when the doors opened.

The Wiggles and Captain Feathersword met us all in a function room.  A couple of wiggley dancers met us first, and they were lovely.  When the foursome emerged it was great to see all the kids get so excited.

We had our little chat and a photoshoot.   Charlotte had already said that she wouldn't be able to stay for the show (as she gets too tired) and when we told Anthony (blue wiggle) he sent a staff member off in search of his guitar.

I didnt catch the beginning where they announced that the following songs were for Charlotte, but they performed two songs just for Charlotte.

Adelle can also share in this limelight as she was not able to go to the concert afterwards either.  I'll try to upload the video soon, but I'm having issues with it right now!!

After a nice long sleep, we then headed to a christmas party where we met Adelle and her parents again.  I'm starting to feel like I'm in a large family now as many others are now recognisable from our many hospital visits.  Of course, Santa came for a visit too and had plenty of prezzies to hand out.

Needless to say, Charlotte was exhausted - but we still managed to squeeze in garlic prawns at the Beach Shack before bed.  I hope Charlotte and Adelle have some wonderful memories from the day.. :)
