Day 3

Dreamworld today!! Charlotte was keen to start buying as soon as we got there, but facepaint first before we headed off to find some rides.

Throughout the day we went on quite a few rides (smaller ones) and one of the bigger ones but Charlotte didn’t enjoy that at all. Rachel and Jamie went on some bigger ride. We had a nice lunch in the restaurant there where Charlotte picked around some squid rings, rice and a few other nibbles. She did well to nibble on a few things so we were all happy.

The afternoon was filled with a few more rides and just a couple(!) of toys and prezzies. We watched the Tiger show.

When the park closed we did the Sunset Tour, which was so interesting. It started off at the tiger enclosures with the trainer/keeper. We were behind a fence, but so close to the tigers. They are very impressive animals and we were able to learn so much about them, very interesting. Then we saw the vet room and the recovery room and the kitchen where they prepare all of the animals meals every day. We met a bilby and a snake and watched the keeper feed the baby tasmanian devils. We were shown through the koala enclosure and got to have pats with the koalas and lots of photos. The whole time our guide was telling us all sorts of information about the animals and we asked her all sorts of questions too. We watched the dingoes go into their enclosures for bedtime. It was such an interesting tour and even though Charlotte was very tired, she really enjoyed herself. Marg picked us up from the tour and took us back to the hotel.

Back at the hotel room Charlotte climbed straight into bed without a word being said.
