It was awesome seeing so many penguins in their natural habitat. They are such unusual animals. We got through the dinosaur shop without buying anything! We couldn't believe it. Then on a few kiddie rides, like the Merry Go Round, the trucks and the planes that spin round and round.
We spotted Dora and Charlotte had a quick photo with her. We watched the Dolphin show, which is just amazing. Then we had Charlotte's Dolpin pat that was organised by Make A Wish Foundation. The trainer brought Starbuck to us while others that paid for a similar experience went off in a larger group.She was a bit scared, so rach held her hand.
The trainer showed us where to pat Starbuck and showed some of his tricks. We saw where he talks from his blowhole and he blew raspberries at us from there and they splashed him and then got drenched when he splashed them back. We were told all sorts of interesting stuff about dolphins and had lots of photos taken. Charlotte loved it and you could see her taking in all the information and she got to feed him a fish too. Jamie and I got to pat Starbuck too and were part of the whole experience. Charlotte really enjoyed the whole experience and said that it was her favourite part of the day on the way back to the hotel.
We had a bit of lunch after we got rid of the stinky fish smell on our hands and did a bit of souvenir shopping, watched the polar bear and went around the touch pool and underwater world. Then we watched the Seal Show, which is fantastic. It is amazing what the animals at Seaworld can do. We had our Seal Safari after the show where the trainers introduced us to the three types of seals that live at Seaworld. We got to pat each one as it walked past us in a line a few times. One of the seals painted a picture and we all had a turn at holding a fish out over the pool for the seal to jump out of the water and eat. Charlotte was a bit scared to hold the fish out, so she passed on that one. We were just shown their teeth before that, so I think she was a bit worried about those teeth! We all had photos cuddling the seals and watched them do all sorts of tricks. Another amazing experience that we all enjoyed and found very interesting. We watched the stunt boat and jet ski show before heading back to the hotel. So many awesome experiences in one day today.
