Radiation Therapy had a little bump in the road yesterday. Charlotte was ready to go but the mask finally became too tight for her little face. Unfortunately the steroids have altered her shape enormously (big tummy and swolen face).
She had a new one made, this one though is a little different as they hoped to quickly make it and get her back on the bed yesterday. As it turns out, radiation treatment was cancelled yesterday as they needed to re-align the scans to fit the new mask.
On a positive note, Charlotte got to have an extended lunch at Sizzler with Rachel and Jamie as a result! By all reports she loved it and I'm sure Sizzler in Ozzy Park is having to order in fresh stocks today :)
